"etymology_text": "From bergugle + berg. The alternative forms are from bergul.\nThe component -ugl- is common in Trøndelag toponyms (see e.g. Kattugla). In one of such toponyms it is derived from earlier -augl- with unknown meaning, attested since Old Norse period, but it is rather an exeption from the rule, while mountain names connected to birds are common in Norway (compare e.g. Falkenuten).\n(mountain top in Løkken): Probably first mentioned on a map of the mine from 1756 in Danish, written as Berg-Ugel-Berget (influenced by the local dialect, see oggel (“owl”)). Same origin as Bergulmyra.",
